Crystalens®
Candidate
What makes you a good candidate for
the Crystalens® Procedure?
The best way to find out is have Dr.
Sibley perform a thorough examination and advise you of a
customized treatment plan for effectively correcting your
vision.
If you want increased quality of
life, are motivated to not wear glasses, well informed,
interested in better unaided vision, are younger or “young at
heart”, have an active lifestyle, qualify for bilateral
(cataract) lens removal and have realistic expectations, you may
be an ideal candidate for the Crystalens®.
Virtually everyone who has cataracts
and is in good general health is a candidate for this new
refractive lens implant surgery.
If you are nearsighted, farsighted,
or have cataracts or astigmatism you may be a candidate for
Crystalens® Refractive Implant.
There are many unique advantages of the Crystalens®
Refractive Implant lens, including the fact that you may qualify
for surgery, even if you have been turned down for LASIK or
other surgical procedures.
The future of refractive surgery is now available, see
what you've been missing:
-
Performance - Provides excellent
quality of vision with predictable and stable results
-
Simplicity - Inserted through a
micro incision utilizing a procedure that is familiar to the
surgeon. The lens is invisible to both you and observers. It
requires no maintenance
-
Versatility - Capable of correcting
a wide range of nearsightedness and is removable if necessary
-
Biocompatibility - The lens is made
from Collamer, a soft, flexible lens material offering
unparalleled biocompatibility
-
Safety - Safe, proven procedure that
is familiar to ophthalmologists
People who have had prior corneal
refractive surgery, such as LASIK, are acceptable candidates for
Crystalens® implantation as long as their eyes are in good
health.
Often people with chronic
infections, uncontrolled diabetes, or other health problems may
have to wait until these conditions are under control prior to
having eye surgery.
If you’ve already had cataract
surgery with a previous lens implant, or have unrealistic
expectations, then you’re not a good candidate for the new
Crystalens® procedure.
So, put your vision in the expert
hands of Dr. Sibley, and discover what others already
know—you’ll like what you see.
This is your one opportunity to do
your homework and select your new implant. We will give you the
information you need to make this important decision.
